Kesgrave Community and Conference Centre has been serving the local community for over 50 years.
Operating as a non-profit making charitable trust, the Centre works for the benefit of the community in achieving its aim of providing competitively priced, comfortable and up-to-date facilities for a host of activities.
The Centre is located just outside Ipswich in Suffolk and is available for private functions, corporate and business events, weddings, christenings, wakes and private parties. Our excellent facilities, make it the ideal choice of venue for a small family celebration or a function room to cater for up to 250 people.
We are proud to offer a variety of community events, from free-to-attend gatherings to ticketed entertainment events.
‘Local Charity of the Year’ & Active Community of the Year!
We are so proud to share that we have been named Local Charity of the Year at the East Suffolk Business Awards 2024 with Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.
As a not-for-profit charity, this award reflects the collective effort of our staff, trustees and volunteers who support the community in a range of events, programmes and activities.
We’d like to thank all those who supported our charity, including residents, hirers, visitors and our wonderful community, young and old alike.
We look forward to building on this achievement further, continuing to work with the local community in new initiatives in further years to come.
Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre (KWMCC) has also been awarded Active Community of the Year at the Active Suffolk Awards 2024. This incredible honour highlights the passion, dedication, and commitment of everyone involved in making sport and recreation such an integral part of life in Kesgrave.
We want to say a huge thank you to our amazing community, whose enthusiasm for activities ranging from pétanque and bowls to cycle speedway, football, cricket, walking football, netball, and kids’ clubs brings our centre to life every day. With badminton, pickleball, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and dance also thriving, there is something for everyone at KWMCC (inclusive of Kesgrave Sports Centre).
