Congratulations to Kesgrave Cricket Club on their 25th anniversary and for their amazing fund-raising efforts to provide new practice facilities for their club.

The  club celebrated the opening of their newly built outdoor practice facility on Sunday 1st July with Graham Napier, ex Essex and England cricketer, now with RHS Sport, visiting the club to formally ‘cut the ribbon’.

Graham then held a Q & A session encouraging all the young players who attended the opening, to practice hard but always remember to still enjoy playing the game, this was followed by an interclub T20 match and BBQ to celebrate the club’s 25th anniversary.

He added “The club is always looking to recruit new coaches and players, both junior and adult and we particularly hope these new practice nets will generate enthusiasm for the game from school aged youngsters locally”.
